Their pitchers --or water-traps,to give them a truer name-are of two kinds.some grow up stiffly tall, narrow vases; other look more like goblets or toby-jugs,and hang down in the air from long stalks attached to the tips of leaves .The outside is usually gaily coloured ,and there is a part inside where nectar can be got in plenty.
